Following a round-table of national experts of the High Scardus Trail and GIZ Albania and North Macedonia, Kostantin from Mountain Academy directed with support of Trails of Albania a trail marking workshop for attendees from Albania, Kosovo and North Macedonia.
Participants learned about and discussed theoretical aspects of trail design before putting the newly gained knowledge into practice while visiting the beautiful stone village of Rabdisht.
Pooling the knowledge of three mountain tourism communities resulted in new insights, shared experiences and handy advice for the benefit of everyone. This is what the High Scardus Trail is about!
The day concluded with a visit of Guest House Sabriu where Sabri and Festa’s hospitality left a mark on us – we’re grateful for their hospitality.
We thank GIZ Albania and GIZ North Macedonia for the organization of the event and the very engaged participants for joining us.
