The Hidden Valley

For a long time, Permet was the sleeping beauty of Southern Albania. Valorizing the region’s rich cultural and natural heritage, the project created the infrastructure to attract active travelers and turned it into a must see by putting it on the cover page of guidebooks.

The project covered:

  • 4 trails around the Vjosa Valley & Permet for day walks
  • A 4-day trekking route of 4 trails in the Zagoria Valley + 2 side trails for day trips
  • 3 trails in the Nemercka Mountains
  • 2 trails in the Hotova Fir National Park in Dangelli

A 76-page hiking guide covering 14 trails, hosts and valuable information when planning a hiking trip in the region is available for free online.
